Except Revelations is only specific about the 144,000 jews that will be taken up. Everyone else is just guessing.

The macabre horror in the first strip was the funniest thing I’ve seen in a long time.

The only thing that would make Super-Fun-Pak-Comix better is if it came with bubble gum. I am officially Rapture Ready!

Is “Dad’s Stupid” a comedy or a drama? (That isn’t a stupid question, is it?)

As much as I (a male) tend to defend the “dumb male” stereotype in other comics, I think “Dad’s Stupid” is priceless. There’s pathos there, like if you’ve ever imagined what it would really feel like to be Charlie Brown.
Maybe Dad’s got other qualities, though. Maybe he’s really considerate, and a sensitive lover, and a nurturing father. Maybe he’s rich and has an enormous penis. Mom hasn’t left him, after all. And who’s stupider, the stupid Dad or the Mom who married him?

hogenmogen, as I’m typing this, I’m listening to Tori Amos sing:“God, sometimes you just don’t come through.”
