Funny how I was the first to comment, at least according to my puter, but Florchi’s comment is listed first. And it’s also pretty amazing that our comments are so similar today.
David why are you so down on Berna? She’s a sensible woman who takes care of her brother who seems to be suffering from dementia (see last Sunday’s strip). He’s already spent a great deal of money (even if he returns the bass boat – about which it has been established that neither of them like to fish or go “boating” – there’s still the entertainment system), and now it’s her turn. She’s entitled to spend some of the money (that SHE won) on herself. She’s also entitled to have lunch with a friend without her brother tagging along. Do you always invite your wife (or brother or sister) every time you go out to lunch with a friend? Do you bring up your wife (or brother or sister) in EVERY conversation you have with anybody? Why should Berna include Dex in every single aspect of her life? She already provides him a home and takes care of him and has offered to share the winnings with him.
Foxtrot – Peter could sure use some psychiatric help. What is he thinking? It’s fun to see visitors from other strips.Rex I was kinda glad to see Berna start to enjoy herself. She has been through a lot with Dex and has usuually had to be the sensible one and the one with a job. But I’ll also agree with David that she could be a litle more patient and kind to him.JP Has there always been a rail for her to hang on to? It’s hard to tell how much time has actually elapsed but it seems a long time to be on a ledge.A3G- Is Iris getting ready to take off? Reference yesterday to being a gypsy, now today has things to do.MW- How is Drew going to handle this? Probably stupidly.MT – He’s going to spin a tale, but the sheriff seems like a smart man. Still it is his son.

It just looks like it’s me, me, me. Nothing about us. Sorry if we disagree on this, but I just think she could be a little kinder. That’s all.

Don’t know why there are lines through the comment on Rex. Not mine.
