OK, this is already dated.

One tiny govt cutback where thousands are needed. At least it’s a start.

I seem to recall a “photoshop” of a “bad guy” with an Apache helicopter in the rear-view mirror. Like the A-10, a much better place to put far fewer bucks, for what our troops really need.

I dunno…I kinda lke the idea of sending officers out to fight and die and let the enlisted men sit it out in air conditioned comfort…with the exception of a very few (mostly SEAL) junior officers, I never had much use for ‘em.

It seems than in the fights the US is currently involved in ultramodern planes like the B2 or the F-22 are no more useful than their precursors. Perhaps it is anti-insurgency conflicts that the Pentagon planners should focus on, not the ephemeral showdown with Russia or China.

What crafts did the fire support of the US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan, btw? It sounds like a job for helicopters rather than planes.

At least the B2’s can be loaded up with JDAMs, those can ruin anyones day.

Substitute O’s health care gambit for the 22. Ohman, always 1 step behind w/a week effort. Bet he’ll be knee slappingly funny with the “racist” cop and Gates.
