And this guy’s name is Slim, right? I’m new to this comic. I wonder why they call him slim when he seems to eat everything in sight lol.

LOL..I have two “human food vacuums” in my house: my teenage sons! ;) However…Slim is supposedly in his-what- 50’s?? and should know the meaning of moderation, or at least discretion. Plus, this is a new job for him…if it were me, I’d be washing dishes and earning my pay, not eating up all the profits. Say…maybe Slim’d be better off at McDonald’s!!!

“Yum! Yum! Eat ‘em up!”, I think, comes from a Little Rascals feature where the kids came across a Wild Man from Borneo who had come to their town. The Wild Man called candy by that phrase, and when the kids were in his presence with a bag of candy, the Wild Man started yelling, “Yum! Yum! Eat ‘em up!” and the kids thought he wanted to eat them up. The Wild Man escaped, and chased them all over, wanting candy, but the kids had a completely different idea.

Now there’s a man who knows what he wants in life and goes after it. Good for you Slim! It’s not your fault they left the fox guarding the henhouse.

Actually Slim is a man after my own heart. I’d eat that way too if I wouldn’t weigh 300 lbs for doing so.
