1st panel - “It wouldn’t surprise me. The guy at the last store claimed he was selling me a refurbished phone but it still had the last owner’s contact list!”

Cell phones that are simply phones are for people who think that comics should be printed in newspapers – and they’re right.

On soapbox: Comics should be printed in newspapers and be printed large enough to read without a magnifying glass. Also, they should not be stretched out of proportion like the SacBee (and other newspapers) do. Off soapbox.

Excellent combination of the old and new. Two comics that have stood the test of time best are “Blondie” and this one. “Blondie” wins because there are so many dull story arcs that pull us away from what makes everyone like GA. The current daily arc is one good example.

Bravo for a great Sunday strip!

My 85 year old father and 59 year old husband both would agree wholeheartedly! Neither wants anything except a phone. Period.
