It is time to go back to the drawing board of the PEEL commission U.N. plans, and look at all the times the plans, and rules, were violated. A fair number of right-wing extremists backing Netanyahu see the Euphrates as their “legitimate” boundary of their “promised land”- are we going to allow that one too?

The prospect of Israel surrendering Jerusalem was always unrealistic. Obama should have known that. As far as the rest of the region is concerned, I do not know what should happen.Both Jews and Muslims have strong claims to the area, based on long-term possession. To write either of them out of the region’s narrative does them both a disservice.
