Long ago, before I started writing for Disney, I tried out for Harvey Comics and did some one-page Richie Rich gags. I didn’t get the gig, but I did later turn one of the Richie gags into an one-page Uncle Scrooge. Best of all, I made a lot more money with that gag as a Disney story than I wouldn’t as a Harvey story.
