I’ve been to some non-events. Generally there is a reason they are non-events. No one is interested enough to care one way or the other.

But here is a perfectly adorable Fred Basset and Yorky and who on earth wouldn’t be interested in seeing them have a game with their friends?

Sounds like tons of fun to me. Wait, I’ll get my car keys and we’re off to the game!

Well the football season is over in the UK. But if you can give me a minutes, I’ll get my Pickle dog and we’ll come and watch the game of pawball. No FIFA nonsense in Fred’s game.

Football or soccer….it’s all the same boring game to me. Now let’s talk Rugby, Fred. There’s a game that separates the men from the boys.

^ Imagination is a wondrous thing. Comics are not always funny haha. As for me, Two dogs waiting for a football game to start is funny enough. Add Fred’s pitiful eyes to it, and you got an ‘awwww’ moment.

Then there are the non-events that get slathering “news” coverage anyway, such as Sarah Palin’s egotrip bus tour.
