I cut all the hair in my house for years. It really is not so hard, particularly if you do a mid-length cut. just hold it straight out from the kid’s head and cut it all the same length. looks pretty good. (Once had an exchange student from Hong Kong who had let his hair go quite long. His natural parents told him to cut it, so we Mohawked it! Our other exchange student-from Iceland- shaved his head just before he got on the plane home, so he would not upset said parents when he got off the plane! But I still have pics of him in his mohawk!)

My mom used to cut everybody’s hair in our family. I always loved my haircuts, and even now I feel wary of trusting my hair to somebody else.
