Clayton: We should open our tea and lemonade stand again. Katy: Good idea! It's sooo hot outside. We'll make millions! Clayton: I'll get the table and cups. Katy: I'll make the drinks. Clayton: In this economy, peoplel want to feel like they're getting a deal. Katy: Hmm. Let's offer them 2-for-1, but double the price. Clayton: That's brilliant! I see a future in politics for you, ma'am. Katy: Eww.

This past weekend in Philadelphia there was a cancer fund-raising campaign consisting of sidewalk lemonade stands around the city, some operated by local celebrities. But a city health inspector ordered one of the stands to install a hand-sanitizer, which caused it to be shut down.
But you people above prefer to take your zings at retailers, banks, and credit card companies. Don’t like them? Don’t deal with them. But just try not dealing with an intrusive government.

If she wanted to make even more money raise the price from 50 to 75 cents and offer 2 for a $1. That way the price increase isn’t as noticeable and everyone will think they are getting a deal and you still get extra from the cheapskates. Yes I have worked in retail.

Ewwww indeed. No need to be insulting there Clayton. Re: your pricing—don’t forget you can fool some of the people etc etc.

The thought of going into politics IS a scary thought, but doing a lemonade stand during the summer is a much better idea.
