@Konoko, thank you so much! for finding the dialogue between Bucky and satchel that drove Rob crazy. I’m repeating my thanks in today’s version, so you can see it. I’m glad I have the dialogue. Is it possible for you to upload the strip here? I’ve never heard of anyone posting their email address on GoComics, but I’m almost tempted in order to see the original comic again, unless it can be posted here. Thank you so much!! I’ll repeat your posting in a moment in case anyone doesn’t get the context of THIS posting.

The defense will now attempt to prove that the victim is merely “Cryin’ all the time” and that he never, in fact, has caught a rabbit.

My language circuits must be off. So “hearsay” is pig latin for “shear” which is a word I understand but cannot for the life of me fit into the context of the strip. “Shound”, on the other hand, is not in my vocabulary (or indeed my spellchecker). Ok, so maybe I’m too Norwegian and need to practice my English more. That said, I’m pretty sure “Catsay” translates into something close to “s**t”, which should fit most of Bucky’s verbal contributions to a tee ;)

I was somewhat curious to see if that comment would get through the nannybot filters ;)

InShadowz —well, I thought it was funny. My comment does read like Pig Latin. Then again…. I have the same problem you do with family, friends and … er…. what I think is funny. If you don’t already, you should do British cryptic crosswords… they’re an outlet for the urge to take words apart and twist their meaning. Hard to come by here (the US) but I get mine online. Wordplay drives some people crazy. I prefer to think they’re just jealous. Right?….. um,,,,, right?
