Elizabeth Garrett (1836-1917) of London, England, was not allowed to attend medical school because of her gender, but passed all the examinations to become Britain's first female doctor in 1865! Germany paid the last of its debt from World War I (1914-1918) reparations payments on Oct. 3, 2010- nearly 92 years after the war ended!

Had the idea that Germany paid off its reparations in the two decades after WW I, using German marks that were worth a quadrillionth of a dollar. Have to check this out.

I wonder if they didn’t need to pay reparations, or far fewer, would there have been a WW2?
