I was more or less forced to take early retirement. Wasn’t ready and I’ve been looking for work for just over two years. If things continue as they are, I may be forced to apply for early SS when I qualify. Not really happy about that right now. But on the other hand, I’ve enjoyed not having to get up before dawn. Plus, with an elderly dog with arthritis and other old age problems, it’s probably good I’m home all day anyway.
