How fun is it to walk to the pool and slowly slide in?None.

so, if someone is floundering in the water and need of a junior lifesaver right NOW , the rescuer must walk to the edge of the pool and ease carefully into the water and then swim to the rescue?

My kids had a teacher, about grade 4, that forced them to walk for all game and activities. Imagine playing tag or even baseball while being limited to a brisk walk!

i thought coach john hated rules and other stuff like that!

Mr. Peirce my grandkids love your books. I am glad you are on GoComics now.

When you take lifesaving, they teach you to jump in feet first so you can keep an eye on the person who needs rescue. That way if they go under, you see it.

Don’t torture the kids. It’s summer.

Just wanted to mention that I always used to love Nate’s notebook comic strips, such as the annual strips about the Pilgrims at Thanksgiving and the surgeon (I can’t remember his name at the moment.) I haven’t noticed many of them recently (though I could be wrong…) Will we ever see those make a return?
