I’d say cliche more so then rip off… and as with any good cliche this has more then an element of truth to it. As Douglas Adams said: "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by. " And as for moods or neuroses: They have entire chapters in the DSMIV dedicated to mine. ;o)
I never liked the last minute pressure going through University. I’d be trying to get the assignment out of my hair as soon as it’s assigned. And then, of course, the teacher would change one of the requirements during the last week it was due, and then I’d really panic trying to implement those changes into the assignment.
Let’s repeat the procrastinators oath: " Never put off until tomorrow what you can put off until the day AFTER tomorrow". Good. Now let’s repeat the LAZY MAN’S OATH: “Never put off until tomorrow what you can get someone ELSE to do for you today”. Good.
