I’ve never seen Calvin’s mom and dad have such a good, hearty laugh.

They will go into prison, when something happens, I wouldn’t let him allone! In such cases police comes very quick!!

How could two such seemingly, nice, normal people have spawned a psycopath like Calvin? Was it something in their genes? Would they do it again if they had the choice? I think not.

I agree with the duct tape. Duct tape is why Casey got off. Everyone knows that duct tape is what makes America great. We forgive anything if it involves duct tape.

My folks had that very conversation about me once or twice.

Too bad he doesn’t have a best friend he could spend the night with. But the closest thing he has to a human friend is Suzy, and I can’t see them having a play-date, let alone a sleepover!

That was probably your only free time and laugh for the entire evening.

I would be laughing manically as well.

That’s because they have Calvin, he is a terror every day. Let’s see, what was his last “adventure”? Oh yea, he LOST dads car!

They could let Hobbs watch him for a couple of hours.

A classic! Bill Watterson was a cartoon genius. Although I’ve seen this one several times before, it still cracked me up when I saw it this morning.

Of course he is wiping his glasses with his tie. The first time the tie has done anything useful.

No Bachman ads in Seattle. Of course, we’d laugh as hard as mom and dad.

Rosalyn is getting good practice for working in a maximum security prison, circus, or an asylum.

This is how I felt about my now 17 year old. He and Calvin were one and the same. He is now a remarkably mature young man. Although there are days I wonder how he survived this long.

since world war two it has been taking both parents working to earn the cost of living for a family.Unatended children has become a way of life thanks to our top heavy economy that is about to crash down on our heads.

calvin is a huge trouble maker.

Lol! That’s probably the hardest I’ve seen mom & dad lagh EVER! But they have a point…..

It’s rare in this strip that Calvin’s parents have a laugh about their devil spawn son, who of course is just misunderstood. Reminds me a little of the movie “Marley and me” which I saw a couple of nights ago. Me, I love Calvin and his imaginary Hobbes, who becomes so real through Calvin’s eyes. I forget it’s a stuffed toy every time I read the strip, and yes I bought the three volume edition of the collected Calvin and Hobbes strips, and this is the first site I visit every morning.

Man. I can’t believe Dad is’nt frowning.
