Transcript:
Adam; I'm gonna give you the day off and take the kids to the movies. Laura; Nick too? Adam; Well, not nick. Laura; Why? Too young? Adam; Exactly! You'll need to have a sophisticated intellect to appreciate what we're going to see! Laura; Wow, what are you going to see? Adam; "Hello Kitty vs. the Hulk."

Is it just me, or did Adam loose weight?

That’s not the sort of movie that I would take my little sister to…I like cats too much to see something like that.

Dearest Adam readers … Phil “Ink Pen” Dunlap is filling in for Rob Harrell this week as Rob recovers from foot surgery. Corey “Barketer Lake/Toby; Robot Satan/The Elderberries” will be filling in next week. Thanks, John @GoComics

The characters all looked funny when Brian stopped drawing them, but we got used to the new look. I guess we’ll get used to this by the end of the week — then have to start over next week, then try to get used to their previous look all over again after that! (Apparently Laura’s harder to draw than Adam…)

I’m a real big fan of this strip… but this is low quality comic art!!! (Art is still important not a punch line).

I love Adam. But there’s something off about how the faces look. And I know it’s a guest artist, so no need to correct me.

You’d think Bassett could’ve bothered to fill in on his own strip for a short stint.

I just took back my posting about them being drawn by Phil Dunlap-They are! Just after I read posting #15.

Seriously, jbrabander! What a racket. Bassett creates a lousy strip, hires Harrell to make it good (excellent, even), but still gets credit and, presumably, paid. Then he can’t even fill in for his subcontractor? Hey, Bassett! Hurry up and turn Red and Rover over to Harrell so he can fix that dud, too.

Adam is starting to look like “Uncle Fester” from the original “Adam’s Family” cartoons. Don’t like the new look.
