Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for January 25, 1988
Transcript:
Calvin: Aaghh, I can't believe we were assignes to do a report together. Susie: All I can say is you'd better do a great job! I don't want to flunk just because I was assigned a doofus for a partner. Calvin: A doofus?? Who takes her sandwiches apart and eats each ingredient separately? Susie: What's wrong with that? Calvin: It certifies you as a grade "A" nimrod. Susie: It does not!

There was a kid I baby-sat who wanted peanut butter cracker sandwiches. When I made them, she took them apart, licked off the peanut butter, and then ate the crackers. Kids are awesome :D

Fun fact: ‘Nimrod’ was not an insult until after Bugs Bunny used it ironically on Elmer Fudd. (The biblical Nimrod was “a mighty hunter”.)
