Calvin: The terrible Tyrannosaurus resumes eating, mortified that someone might see him. The late cretaceous period...when dinosaurs ruled the earth! And Calvin ruled the dinosaurs!

One notices here that Watterson has been doing his homework on dinosaurs. These two are far better drawn than those in the beginning of the strip.*Don’t know why the color is off here, as both the versions I have of this strip in my collection are fine.*@bmonkThe reputation dinos have for bad manners largely belongs to young, unmarried males. Those living with female dinos were much better behaved.
