Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for September 07, 1988
Transcript:
Calvin: I can't believe I'm here waiting to go to school. What happened to summer. Susie: Gosh, I couldn't wait for today! Soon we'll be making new friends, learning all sorts of important things, and... calvin: What the matter with you?? Calvin: Your bangs do a good job of covering up the lobotomy stitches.

I loved to learn, i loved seeing my friends, i even found tests to be kind of fun… But even i never really looked forward to school… It’s a sad reality.
