Daughter of a friend spent her youth arguing with her mother about how it didn’t matter if the stupid knives went into the knife block blade up or blade down. Daughter grows up. Daughter gets married. A week later Daughter calls Mom and demands that mom tell her ignorant husband to quit putting the knives in their new knife block with the blade down.
