The expression is “hear, hear”, meaning pay attention, but not to be confused with “there, there”, meaning mild sympathy, often patronizing or sarcastic.

Mom will never forget her anniversary with the guy she’s married to now. They woke up on their 1-year anniversary to the news of New York being attacked. :-(
