Finally,a serious relationship in this strip.Brad’s on the verge of losing Toni withhis new “baracuda boss”.

Looks like Knute and Crystal have a good, solid cos-play basis for their relationship…sounds promising!

You have to admit, at least they are both willing to kiss each other. Good to see two nice kiddoes beginning to really like each other.

@ ProfessorChaos…Why be so negative??? Comics are supposed to brighten your day and this one usually does.

Well, we have just been conclusively shown that they are, for want of a better colloquialism, “straight”. Not that there is anything wrong with that.

These kids are cute, and far more old-fashioned than either would ever admit!

This portrays a real budding romance between Crystal and Knute who always have been single…this offers potential for more Brad/Toni storylines. Perhaps Greg sees the huge draw on Brad/Toni appearances so he is creating another couple – Crystal and Knute.

Awww, it’s over – but so will Comic-Con be over tomorrow.. Anyway, we’ve got to get back to Ann & Brad. Who knows what kind of trouble is brewing with Toni?

Last time I checked they were nowhere close to hugging each other let alone kiss each other.Roleplaying does wonders.

I must admit; I thought that Knute and Crystal were too different to have any type of a serious relationship, but perhaps Knute is just so carefree that Crystal finds it helps her by allowing her to shed her very serious persona.

Why does everyone think Toni and Brad are gonna split up ’cause of the ’Cuda? Toni and Brad are waaayy stronger than anything she can dish out. Even if she hits on Toni too.

I think this is nice…what is happening is those two realizing they have a bit more in common than they might have previously thought. Both, in spite of their exteriors, can be rather astute observers of the events going on around them, and both are pretty good at reading other characters in the LuAnn universe (although, they mystify each other a bit, but that is to be expected…sometimes the person you have the hardest time reading is the person most like yourself)

A very nice, kind, cute, and sentimentally pleasant ending to the Comic-Con. Thank you, Greg. I look forward to more of Knute and Crystal’s developing relationship.

That was a very sweet interlude and I’m happy to see that Crystal and Knute are exploring a relationship. But now it’s time to get back to the drama! After an adorable romp with Puddles tomorrow, what will Monday bring? Will Brad encounter the predatory ways of Ann? Will sparks fly between Luann and Quill? Will TJ hatch another outrageous scheme? And most importantly, will we finally learn the location of Pittsville? I can’t wait!

Ultimately, they aren’t compatible. It’ll take a LOT of work to get them to stay together. Despite the chemestry, there’s a large bridge they have to cross, and they’re too young to comprimise enough.

Aww this was sweet. I hope he continues more with Knute and Crystal :) Knute’s one of my fave characters; he’s so funny.

I think there is more to come from the Knute and Crystal pairing in Monday’s strip. Probably a sweet kiss or a promise to date exclusively. You know how Greg always wraps up each and every storyline in a neat little bow before moving on to another, because doing otherwise would enrage the reader. Or not.

Feeding trolls first leads to troll scat, and it’s best just to ignore it and its droppings – best to let them lie there and never pick them up. They’ll soon dry up and blow away.

Agree. I think Greg is reliving his own teen-age. He has said he was awkward around girls.

My comment was a reply to one 9 posts back. How do you comment with no name? I think the site could be improved if replies appeared right below the original comment, perhaps indented. I frequently have to go back and search to find out what the replier was replying to.

If you think someone is a troll, just don’t read, talk , to him/her, This is getting ridiculous. Any one following the rules can post, but it’s you who’s responding and making things unpleasant.

I did not insult you. I merely stated facts that you like those characters and will say positive things about those characters, not so much about the rest. And yes, you did compliment Ann the other day when she first appeared on the strip and I commented on how you seem to prefer villains over the vanilla characters. And I stated facts that you call Brad those names. It was you who insulted the characters.
