Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for January 30, 1989
Transcript:
Hobbes: Wow, you've made a lot of snowmen today! Calvin: Yep, They're effigies. Each one represents someone I hate. When the sun comes out, I'll watch their features slowly mely down their dripping bodies until they're nothing but noses and eyes floating in pools of water. Hobbes: I wasn't aware you even knew this many people. Calvin: The ones I really hate are small, so they'll go faster.

No, no, no, Calvin! You make the ones you REALLY hate BIGGER, so that they suffer longer!

Calvin loves humanity—it’s people he hates. Or something like that.
