Academia Waltz precedes Bloom County, & are by the same artist. So it seems he thought of this idea for AW and liked it enough to repeat it in BC. And prollly the GoComics sequence of the two comics is unrelated, & it’s just coincidence that this AW appears a mere week after the same topic showed up in BC. No conspiracies here.
