I was totally impressed with Adam’s speech and especially panel 1, until I saw the toilet brush. Adam, uh, you need better gear. Much better gear.

I don’t know about that whole “rite of passage” bit, but I like taking my parents to the movies they want to see at the theater I work at, and I have no problem being seen with them.

What do you mean “when he gets to 13, he won’t want to be seen with me”? Us teenagers aren’t all a surly, ungrateful bunch of jerks. Have some faith in your son, Adam.
Then again, I watch Star Trek re-runs…so I’m not really representative…

@Josh: ah… that explains the superhero theme and the finger pointing in panel 5 (maybe it’s just me, but it seems like phil loves the finger pointing)
