Remarkable how he can compose an eight-stanza poem on the spot, but he cannot add. He’s destined to be a politician.

He puts more effort into the excuses than would be needed to properly complete the assignments.

I love this poem so much I actually memorized it.

Wait, are those Zorches?! No wonder they’ve got a grudge against Spaceman Spiff, if they used Calvin’s math for science and navigation! (Note the monitor: 2+7 = 15, and 9+6=50…)
