Gas just went up 13 cents/gallon overnight — just in time for the big holiday wekend! The bastards don’t even try to hide it anymore. It’s just “in your face!” greed.
The Republicans succeeded in shutting down the MN state government. Including the people who keep traffic moving and clear traffic accidents from traffic, just before the 4th of July. This will be a good time to watch the Republicans’ dream future — no government interference! — at work. I’m sure there’s a good libertarian solution.
Take the bicycle whenever possible. You can travel about 10 miles per hour on a bike, once you get your muscles conditioned for something other than depressing the gas pedal again. How fast do you move in rush hour grid-lock???

Who cares if the price of gas goes down, up, or goes to 8 bucks a gallon? We’ll be off the stuff soon enough.
