Indeed. The richest man in Mexico owns their telco (they sold it to him after they got the privatization bug). He gets a cut of all monies wired into Mexico and has a stake in most telcos in Central and South America. He’s richer than the entire country’s government. He could do so much to help his country, but he prefers to profit from them instead. Shameless.
I have seen parents of tiny babies glued to one of those frickin’ things, rather than interacting with their own child. They need to start some studies to show this is an addiction, not just an appliance.
