Arlo: The temperature just hit 100!
LOL! That Luddy is one funny blue cat! So cute!
But he’s supposed to be purple! Low on red ink, Jimmy?
Maybe Jimmy was in a hurry. You know, Rushin’ blue.
I think he is a Russian Blue or a Chartreux.
He’d probably turn that color if it was really cold….
The body temp of a cat is 100-102 degrees. An ambient air temp over that is really uncomfortable for your average kitty. I think all 4 paws in the air is supposed to indicate that luddie is dieing in this heat.
I see Ludwig is relaxing real good.
Ludwig was 17. Not the way I expected him to get written out of the strip, but that’s the way it goes when you let characters age in real-time.
No, Luddie hasn’t died. He’s just trying to get as much air circulation as he can to cool off.
Yep got one of those laying in front of the fan right now…feet up, fur swaying in the breeze.
We call it a “tummy airing” at our house.
