Hopefully Lucy is in the line of fire. He’d still miss her, but what is life without hope?

Don’t worry Charlie Brown, there’s always next year. (We Cub fans have been saying that for the last century.)

If Luce WAS in the line of fire, she would probably make her only catch of the entire season!

Well, he DID try football, but Peppermint Patty kept blaming him for screwing up the kicks EVEN THOUGH EVERYONE SAW LUCY PULLING THE BALL AWAY, geez…Charlie, did you ever try soccer?

Put that energy into throwing the ball, and you might get more strikes.

Charlie Brown is a good kid. And…no quitter: he’ll be back next year, despite Lucy playing right field.
