Without the Rosmarys of the world, the Tom and Scottys would go around and around. Face it, much as you might hate it, the Rosemarys get things done. Sort-of.
It is very simple. Tom climbs a banana tree, eats his fill of bananas while up it, he then climbs down empty handed and does his own thing. If the others want to eat they can do the same, or go catch their own fish or mangoes or whatever else is available at any given moment on this island. Tom is only making his own hell here, and could easily solve it. If they don’t get their own food, Tom will get stronger and they will wither and die, and he will have the island to himself again, as he was expecting on day one. And we won’t have to sit through his agony any more. This one is coming off my list.

Scotty and Tom need to double-team her. Of course, maybe a basketball game isn’t the best way to settle their differences.
