Who would ever let their child sit on the front step and eat watermelon? It makes such a sticky mess.

A prickly pear is better. Similar flavor but not as sickly sweet and a lot less messy. Just be careful peeling it.
and so..that’s my new word of the day.. “Puh-Tooie”…I like saying that..
