Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for April 11, 1990
Transcript:
Mom: While your dad is taking Rosalyn home, perhaps you'd like to explain what happened tonight. Calvin: Gosh mom, what's to tell? At 8:00, I put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth and went straight to bed. Nothing happened. Mom: And this? Calvin: Uh...lies! All lies! Rosalyn made me do that just so I'd get in trouble! She hates kids! None of that is true! I went straight to bed! Hobbes: Nice try, Pinocchio. Calvin: Well who would've thought Rosalyn would make me write a full confession?!

Rosalyn was always able to get the better of Calvin, in whatever guise.

I’ve always believed that Calvin is raging karma for something REALLY bad one or both of his parents did in the past!

You know, it’s really bad how Calvin’s mom keeps ignoring Calvin when he talks about his experiences with Rosalyn. Calvin’s mom should consider his side of the story too.

No offense, Hobbes, but if Calvin is Pinocchio, that makes you Lampwick.
