I may be a bleeding heart woose which is fine by me. But, after what happened @ Ranger stadium on 7 July when Mr Stone died trying to catch a ball being thrown to him, I feel this toon was in bad taste this soon after the accident.
It’s best that people remember Mr. Stone. Maybe they won’t be leaning over the railing so far from now on. As for the fan returning the ball to Jeter, A class act. fan for a class act player. Kudos.
This toon was written before mr. Stone’s death. Last night, another fan was dangling from the upper deck, apparently trying to catch a ball he couldn’t possibly reach. Fortunately his buddies were hanging on to him.
