Do you guys know what happened with the ‘new’ 5 comic strip character contest? I tried to go back but the calendar is blanked out.

The calendar works for me — I have no problem getting to the fake poll. As for asking Darby to move on from this arc — The re-runs were chosen weeks ago. Last week’s new strips looked like Darby wanted to break away from the usual Get Fuzzy. Maybe he’s bored; I hope it doesn’t mean he’ll quit, like Bill Watterson or Berkeley Breathed.Meanwhile, the syndicate must have agreed to pay for a certain number of new strips, and fill in with oldies, or he wouldn’t be here. Nothing can make someone create art if inspiration is elsewhere.Membership on this site doesn’t somehow entitle you to new Get Fuzzys. Our only choice may be what we get, or nothing. If you pick nothing….. well, to me, it’s your loss.
