Calvin and Hobbes by Bill Watterson for July 07, 1990
Transcript:
Calvin: Dad doesn't believe we went to the Jurassic and took photographs of real dinosaurs. He says it looks like we just put my toy models in the yard and took pictures of them! He says our get-rich-quick scheme won't work. Hobbes: Huh! Calvin: He said if we really wanted to get some money, he'd pay us a dollar to pull weeds out of the front walk. Hobbes: Just a dollar? Calvin: Of course I told him we didn't want the money that bad.

I’ve done this as a kid, sort of. I put dinosaur toys in my mum’s garden and took pictures of them. I got some pretty cool pictures but I never tried to sell them to National Geographic!
