There is something, isn’t there? Calvin once insisted to his mother that it was mandatory to leave a bit of the smooth area intact, until you were down to the last helping. And Pasquale was so overwhelmed at the thought of marring the surface of the peanut butter (and the jar of jelly!) that he ended up just eating a slice of bread.
