Caulfield: "My Country 'Tis of Thee" is just a rehashed "God Save the Queen." "The Star-Spangled Banner" is an English drinking song! do we steal all our tunes from the British? Frazz: I think we learned our lesson when Vanilla Ice samples Queen and Bowie. Miss Plainwell: I sure hope we learned something.

If I recall correctly, he didn’t actually sample Queen, but just stole the distinctive bass line (and maybe other stuff too; been a long time since I heard him, thank goodness) from “Under Pressure”. The reason I think that is because I remember seeing someone interviewing him, and him defending his ripoff by saying that Queen’s bassline and his were totally different.

Vanilla Ice Favorite recording artist of Little Donny TrumpJr. They had an event and THAT is what they got to entertain. No surprise whatsoever. Milli Vanilli of course not available.
