    Leasing a car is like paying it double. But it fits to the character of Mr. Hacker. For that Humdinger of his he’s probably paying 1.000 $ every month without counting gas, service, and insurance. And maybe even plus a custom build parking garage.

    I sold cars for 23 years before I retired. People would lease a car, pay $600 a month for 36 months and then give it back to us. If they didn’t go over the miles allowed, they have spent $21,600 plus all the extras you mentioned and have NOTHING to show for it. Not me. Most of them did it because the payment was lower than buying. No other reason. They had resigned themselves to the idea that they would have a car payment for the rest of their lives, so why not?
