Meta-calculations… hrrmm if i could just make a program that rearranged my files so that the data formed meta data I could probably double my hard-drive capacity.
The irony is that if he used the ruler to draw a 6 inch line, and then went to the end of the line, and then drew a 3 inch line, and then measured both of them, he could get the answer without knowing how to add at all.
Or Calvin could draw a square that was 6 inches on two sides and 3 on the other sides, draw a line diagonally through two points, measure that, go to the end of the line, draw the same line, again, and measure both the lines as one. The first line would be the average of both lines, so 4.5, and then doubling it will be the answer of both of them added together, so 9. Wow, I put way too much thought into that…
