Fun fact: There was a little-known one-shot comic book, published in 2008, entitled “Chumble Spuzz” after the last part of Calvin’s quote here.

I just found this strip from “C&H” recently, and it made me laugh out loud—especially the last two words of Calvin’s response to the question. Fun stuff.

I once had a test which asked "do you know who XXXX (I forget who) is? I answered YES I DO. Nowadays not only would I insist on getting the full marks bit I would also insist on every one who did not put Yes/No getting no marks as Yes?No are the only right answer to what was asked.Years before I had an exam which asked write everything you know about XXXX (I forget what) so I answered " I know nothing about XXXX" they had to give me 100% – they tried to give me less but could not prove at the time I sat the exam I knew anything (see being a idiot can help) .

“An object at rest remains at rest, and an object in motion remains in motion at constant speed and in a straight line unless acted on by an unbalanced force.“

This is basically inertia. That’s all I’m gonna say.
