Calvin: I hate when a lot of kids are on the slide. You wait forever to get to the top and then the ride is over so fast. And if you sit for a moment to enjoy the height, everybody yells at you to get going. And sometimes the idiot behind you starts down too soon and he smacks into you at the bottom before you can get away. Yep, the playground is a lot more fun after class starts. Person: CALVIN!

Way back in first grade (which would make it about 1975) another kid and I went around the side of the school building during recess and did not hear the bell when it went off. When we came in late, we were subjected to a paddling. Calvin’s lucky to be living in 90’s.
