And once again, I find myself at war with Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:List_of_webcomics

Anyone care to go and let these idiots know how “minor” this strip is?

I read the wiki link. Man, those guys are harsh. Worse than the trolls around here even.

I’d be interested in seeing the criteria for a ‘major’ web comic. Oh, sorry, webcomic, one word.

Number of hits? Big deal. I’d like to think it takes more than a high volume site to be considered major.

Longevity? A useful criterion, I’m sure. As long as we remember that longevity can also be attained by the lame. All they have to do is hang in there. Especially when we consider that the mainstream web’s only been around since around 95 or so.

Consistent high level of quality over an extended period of time? Now we’re getting somewhere. And I think that this is where NAQV can qualify as a major web comic, durn it WEBCOMIC. A daily comic is difficult. Some are cute, but just don’t cut it. NAQV makes the grade.

I wish I had some sort of influence with the web+comics guys at Wiki. I’d love to help.
