Being a Liberal, I want to be sure I have good health care and those around me do too. I have no desire to tell someone that is ill they cannot have health care. Republicans give every impression they want the uninsured ill to just blow away, because they cost too much to help. Hogwash!

My cancer treatments so far this year have cost nearly $45,000, paid by insurance. I paid my $5,000 deductible. WIthout insurance, it would have cost another $27,000. I’d lose my home and have to live on the streets without health care coverage.

All Americans deserve good health care. We spend too much money on boondoggle wars to really be able to say no, not for you.

Go catch Osama Bin Laden and then it will help to mitigate the war the W & Crew started in Afghanistan, and maybe it will be worth something. So far, it isn’t.

If we reduced the Defense Dept. by 20%, there would be plenty of money to provide quality health care for everyone. We would still have the largest defense budget. We would still be spending more on defense then all the rest of the countries of the world combined.

If we were serious about ending graft and corruption in military-industrial contracts, we could reduce our defense spending even more.

Liberals are not soft on defense! We just want to end the military-industrial welfare complex!

cjr, you want to pay my daughter’s insurance? It’s over $1000/mo with a $10,000 deductable. A public option sounds pretty good to me.
