The only danger here is a hernia for Rory! He may be laying low for several weeks.

Almost 40 years ago, at age 17, I decided to show off and pick up my first real girlfriend. It was only a little harder than I expected. What was really hard, was living down the fact that I let one rip as I did it.

    Sorry, Karen, wherever you are.

I clicked to reply to the bird55 and instead, ended up replying to margueritem (how’s it going, margueritem ?) I don’t know how that happened, but it’s not the first time mysterious things have occurred on this site!

@thebird55That is the funniest thing I’ve read in a long time! Thank you for having the cojones to admit it!

Love it! Another fine series, Ralph. Can’t wait for the rest.

Re Bird’s comment : Funny. I can imagine that happening. It happened to me when was in high school. I was at this girl’s home for Sunday dinner following church. She and I were at the piano. I’d just finished playing something, and in the quiet moments immediately after, I let go a squeaker. Not a sound from anyone. They were obviously being polite but boy was I embarrassed. You’re not alone, Bird.
