Upon what incident is the movie, “Jaws” based?Answer to yesterday’s “Daddy’s Home” cartoon question: http://on.fb.me/fplMZT

“Jaws” was based on a book… I always assumed (hoped) that it was fiction. I love sharks, but I still wouldn’t want to come face to face with a homicidal, psychopathic monster one like that.

Anybody from New Jersey knows that Jaws was inspired by a series of shark attacks in 1916 (okay, I looked up the date), including attacks on a group of boys swimming in a river miles upstream from the Atlantic. Probably the work of a bull shark, not a great white, as the bull can survive in fresh water. (Cue Jaws music.)

Here comes a hairy tidal wave.

I never saw more than a half of the first Jaws movie and didn’t watch any sequels either.

ok, a big guy going swimming….would it be more acceptable if he wore baggy trunks?……the hair on the back, while unattractive in some circles, surely doesn’t contaminate the water…so I guess the implication here is that this guy, because of his size, thong and body hair, is dangerous…..

The guy in the thong is from Quebec and would be far better off if he just did away with the thong as it just makes him look fat.
