Well, I sympathize more now with Petey For when he’d agreed to her entreaty He had come to find friends And perhaps make amends — But he’s forced to spend time with this sweetie But he wasn’t forced down here, or was he? While the rumors around him are Buzzy He is still sticking fast To this link from his past She is “furry,” but not “warm and fuzzy” =|====/ Level Head The Endtown Forum

For an opening trick Make a “short guy” crack Walk around in a huff With your ears laid back And your temper as short As your chopped-off tail I must sadly report At friendship you fail But you play it down For your job depends On keeping Endtown Not on keeping friends There is more to life That mere competence And you don’t help strife Making teammates tense We have seen you exposed We know some heart’s there We have even supposed That for “Petey” you care But the “Blackie” he called You keep under a mask And it’s firmly installed Showing “Angry Flask” What will make you break? The last time it was shock And you faced a mistake That made your world rock And your stomach was not Quite up to the task What might gentle your soul? What could fill the Flask? I am guessing we’ll see With some time above: What was your history? Was it envy? Love? When your team’s Topside You will guide them true Even though, inside Something’s eating you =|====/ Level Head Vote for Endtown 2.0 The Endtown Forum

I’m guessing Flask has never read “How to Win Friends and Influence People!”

OK. I’ve voted twice now. Yesterday and today. I like their voting policy. Vote early and vote often.

“Yeah, well, you’re ruder than I expected, and we’re both stuck with that. Do you want me for this assignment or not?”

Well, I’d say this disproves those theories about Holly stowing away in Wally’s backpack, because after a comment like that, she would’ve leaped out and kicked Flask in the chin!

I think Pangolin was right about “Drill Sergeant Petey”. His attitude and speech are Military. He addresses Wally like an officer does a new recruit. I think he and Flask were in the military together and had the close bond that members of the same unit have for each other. Maybe he was her CO. It’s possible they were separated horrifically on a mission and she thought he was lost forever, and she thought it was her fault. Now she won’t let him out of her sight.

I expect he was pretty much like this guy:

Well it’s safe bet to say that these two mutant felines aren’t related….at least not yet.

Wally, use Flask’s and Petey’s attitudes as an excuse to leave.Go find Holly! It’s obvious that BOTH Flask AND Petey believe that you aren’t up to doing the assignment.

D’oh! I totally meant “shin”! That’s what I get for trying to operate a keyboard before I have my second cup of coffee!

He’s taller than his girlfriend…who, by the way, can run circles around Flask!

School makes it hard to get Endtown everyday…I really like this character of Petey. He’s an interesting sort, with a cheerfully sardonic view of the world, which makes what he has to say incredibly engaging. Petey’s becoming one of my favorite characters now.

Umm, Wally’s not sitting down. He is standing, and he is maybe half of Flask’s height (notice that he’s about as tall as Petey).

I had also initially thought Wally was in a chair, but a quick review showed that his backpack is what gave me the false impression. TSOJ is correct: Wally is standing.
