What’s funny when you have a Great Dane is the adult give you a wide berth, but the little come running and want to pet him. Kids love my dogs. I guess they just haven’t been brainwashed into being scared of big dogs yet.
When we were house hunting, one of the homes had a menagerie of sorts including a great dane. He didn’t even have to lift his head to sniff at my backside. His owner had to help me get him to leave me alone.
On the other hand, their cat got up on the dining room table and onto the back of a chair so he could try to get up onto my shoulder for some loving.

I love Scooby Doo, but he’s sooo cowardly. For favorite TV dog in a semi-starring role, Bandit from Jonny Quest is the clear winner.
