Yeah, they have friends, but ask anybody that ever writes those super-group books- finding convincing places for everyone’s voice on a single theme bogs down the story. I only bring in Steve and those guys when I really need ’em.

Dig a hole, fill it with water…And jump in. That’s what I did when I was about that age. Nothing good on TV Saturday afternoons (only 3 channels).

Get mom to pack a cool lunch – hop on your bike and take off for the day. That’s what a bunch of us kids did for part of the summer. Several moms had quiet homes for a few hours.
